Located deep within the Serengeti’s vast plains, Wilderness is a luxury safari lodge designed to immerse guests in nature while maintaining the highest standards of comfort and sustainability. Frequent generator use and fuel logistics in this remote area presented both environmental and operational challenges — prompting Wilderness to partner with Greenlink ReGen for a clean energy transformation.

Greenlink ReGen engineered and installed a 150 kWp solar photovoltaic system paired with a 240 kWh battery bank and 90 kVA inverter setup. This hybrid system ensures consistent, reliable power for guest operations, kitchens, and staff quarters — all while drastically reducing diesel consumption and noise pollution.

By switching to solar energy, Wilderness Serengeti has significantly lowered its carbon footprint and operational costs. The result: quieter nights, a reduced environmental impact, and a guest experience that truly reflects the beauty and sustainability of its surroundings.
