Located on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the western Serengeti plains, Serengeti Sopa Lodge offers guests panoramic views and front-row access to one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes. With 69 spacious rooms, the lodge caters to travelers seeking comfort and authenticity in the heart of the wild.
To enhance sustainability and reduce fuel reliance, Greenlink ReGen implemented a 180 kWp solar photovoltaic system, consisting of 402 solar panels. The system was custom-designed to meet the lodge’s daily energy demands while minimizing environmental impact and preserving the serene setting.
This installation now provides a stable and silent renewable energy source, significantly cutting diesel usage and ensuring reliable power even in the most remote conditions.
