Fun Beach Zanzibar

Located on the southeast coast of Zanzibar, Fun Beach Hotel is a vibrant beachfront resort known for its relaxed atmosphere, large pools, and eco-conscious approach to hospitality. With rising energy demands and a strong desire to reduce its environmental impact, the hotel turned to solar power as a long-term solution.

Greenlink ReGen installed a 123.2 kWp solar photovoltaic system, consisting of 280 solar panels complimented by 300 kWh battery storage. The system was tailored to support the hotel’s daily operations, from guest accommodations and pools to restaurant services—all while minimizing reliance on diesel generators.

Thanks to this installation, Fun Beach now runs on clean, renewable energy—lowering operational costs, reducing emissions, and enhancing the guest experience with quiet, sustainable power.
