Fanjove Private Island, located off the southern coast of Tanzania, is an exclusive eco-lodge from Laba Laba lodges offering just a handful of beachside luxury bandas and villas in total harmony with nature. Accessible only by boat, the island is entirely off-grid, making sustainable energy not just a preference, but a necessity.
To support the island’s operations and guest experience with clean, uninterrupted power, Greenlink ReGen installed a 100 kWp solar PV system combined with a 320 kWh battery energy storage system (BESS). The system comprises 246 solar panels, discreetly integrated into the island’s layout to preserve its pristine beauty and ecological balance.
This installation enables the lodge to operate fully on solar power—reducing emissions, eliminating noise pollution from generators, and aligning perfectly with the island’s barefoot luxury ethos.
